Explore and experience the cultural roots of the Asian-Pacific Islands through live performances, visual arts, hands-on activities, games, and a lively marketplace. The festival launches Asian-Pacific Islander Heritage Month in Seattle with spectacular dances, youth drill teams, drumming, martial arts, and artists from around the state.
Do you want to express your API heritage by
drawing an artistic masterpiece?
Or how about your kids? Join our Art Contest. Incorporate Asian Pacific Islander heritage and culture in America. Must be an original and made specifically for this contest. Open to all students grade K-12. We have some great prizes for the winners. A panel of artists and art professionals will judge all entries that will be on display during the API Heritage Month Celebration on Sunday May 5, 2013 from 12pm to 5pm. Artist of the selected pieces will be introduced and recognized on stage.
